Join us for a relaxed, social evening of great food, drinks, and community as you move through a three-course progressive dinner at some of Downtown Skokie’s most loved spots.

Seating is communal, with individually plated dishes served at shared tables, creating an easy, welcoming atmosphere where neighbors become new friends over great food.

Each restaurant offers two menu options for guests to choose from, allowing for flexibility while keeping the experience cohesive.

  • Progressive Dinner Ticket: $50 (plus gratuity and tax)

  • Optional Drink Pairing Add-On: $30 (plus gratuity and tax)

Tickets are prepaid, limited, and expected to sell out, as they did last year.

Arrival reminder: To keep the evening running smoothly, the first course will be served promptly. Late arrivals may miss part of the first course.

    Enjoy a cocktail of your choice from the full menu at any point during the evening.
    Your Take Flight cocktail may be enjoyed at happy hour, before dinner, or after dessert, anytime Take Flight Spirits is open during the event window.

  • Libertad
    A cocktail of your choice from the full cocktail menu, paired with your entrée.

  • Kneads and Wants
    Your choice of any coffee or tea beverage, including espresso drinks, chai, or matcha.

Guests who select the drink pairing may order any drink off the menu at Take Flight Spirits, Libertad, and Kneads and Wants, making this a flexible and generous add-on rather than a fixed pairing.

What to Expect

  • This is a progressive dinner designed to feel relaxed and social. Guests will spend approximately 35–40 minutes at each location, with about 7–10 minutes to walk between stops.

    Please plan to arrive on time for the first course. The appetizer course will be served promptly, even if you are running late.

    If you’ve added the drink pairing, your cocktail at Take Flight Spirits can be enjoyed before dinner, between courses, or after dessert, anytime they are open during the event window.

  • All locations are within easy walking distance in Downtown Skokie.

    • Sweet Reserve to Libertad: about three-tenths of a mile, approximately 7 minutes

    • Libertad to Kneads and Wants: about one-tenth of a mile, approximately 4 minutes

    Walking is encouraged when possible, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings, as parking can fill up.

  • You have several flexible parking options, depending on how you’d like to structure your evening. You may park once and walk, park near a specific course, or drive between locations.

    Parking near the beginning (Sweet Reserve):

    • Public lot just east of the Walgreens parking lot, marked as a Downtown Skokie parking lot

    • Street parking on both sides of Oakton

    • Parking spaces on Lamon
      These options are closest to the first course.

    Parking in the middle (Libertad):

    • Skokie Village public parking lot next to the Chase Bank on Oakton, approximately 7950 Lincoln Avenue, this is the closest lot to Libertad

    • Street parking on Lincoln Avenue in front of Libertad

    Parking near the end (Kneads and Wants and Take Flight Spirits):

    • Public lot at approximately 8024 Lincoln Avenue, across from Warren Street

    • Street parking on Lincoln Avenue in front of Kneads and Wants and Take Flight Spirits

  • The drink pairing is an optional add-on that includes beverages at multiple stops throughout the evening of your reservation. Your cocktail at Take Flight Spirits may be enjoyed anytime during the evening of your scheduled progressive dinner, either before the dinner begins or after dessert. Other pairing beverages are served at their respective locations as part of the progressive experience.

  • Yes. A valid, government-issued photo ID is required at each location when ordering alcoholic beverages, including those included in the drink pairing. This policy is required by law and applies to all participating establishments.

  • Yes. We can accommodate vegetarian, gluten-free, and nut-free requests.

    Please indicate any dietary restrictions when purchasing your ticket. Each restaurant will also confirm dietary needs with you at your table so you can ask any specific questions directly.

  • This is a communal dining experience, with guests seated at tables of up to eight people.

    Last year’s progressive dinner received overwhelmingly positive feedback, with many guests sharing that they enjoyed meeting new people, having lively conversations, and making new connections over the course of the evening. Whether you arrive with friends or on your own, the communal format is a big part of what makes this experience special.

  • Tickets are prepaid and non-refundable and are valid only for the selected date and time. This event takes place rain or shine.
