A Downtown Skokie Collaboration

This September, two Downtown Skokie favorites are teaming up for a delicious collaboration. Kneads & Wants and Libertad have created limited-time specials that showcase the best of both menus.

At Libertad, guests can enjoy Pasión de Kneads & Wants—a decadent dessert featuring Kneads & Wants’ fudgy brownie topped with Libertad’s spiced hot fudge, a scoop of Kneads & Wants’ caramel ice cream, whipped cream, and an Amarena cherry.

At Kneads & Wants, the special is the Croissant de Libertad—a golden flat croissant made to order and topped with Libertad’s savory chicken tinga, queso fresco, crema, salsa, and fresh arugula. Inspired by Libertad’s signature flauta, this open-faced croissant is bold, fresh, and full of flavor.

Both creations are available exclusively throughout September, giving the community a unique opportunity to taste this Downtown Skokie collaboration from both sides of the street.
