Ice cream season has officially expanded at Kneads and Wants Bakery.
Ice cream season has officially expanded at Kneads and Wants Bakery. What started as a Thursday night tradition is now available every day from 11 AM until close, featuring super-premium small-batch ice cream from Capannari, rotating seasonal flavors, specialty sundaes, thick milkshakes, old-fashioned floats, affogatos, and giant ice cream sandwiches.
Our seasonal lineup includes flavors like Cosmic Cookie Dough, Sea Salt Caramel, Pistachio, Strawberry, Limoncello, Java Chip, Chocolate, and Vanilla, along with rotating seasonal flavors throughout the year.
Specialty sundaes include the Velvet Pistachio Crunch inspired by Dubai chocolate, the Salted Caramel Cold Brew Sundae with Java Chip ice cream and toffee bits, the Blue Skies & Sunshine Sundae with limoncello sorbet and blueberry sauce, and the wildly over-the-top Nacho Average Sundae made with mini croissant waffles and all the toppings.
Even though ice cream is now available nightly, Thursdays remain our Downtown Skokie Ice Cream Night tradition, featuring rotating limited-time sundae specials like God Save the Kouign and special pricing on select sundaes all summer long.
